TECHGENE Scientific Meeting

Omschrijving: During the Scientific Meeting the progress within the FP7 TECHGENE project will be presented. The meeting will be open to other interested researchers. In addition, we plan to organize a forum discussion with representatives of patient organizations, clinical geneticists, laboratory scientists, genome researchers, and representatives from companies involved in the development of diagnostic tools and data analysis for NGS, to discuss what is expected and needed, and what can be offered in the (near) future.

It is the ambition of TECHGENE to develop and be instrumental in the formation of an informal NGS human genetics diagnostics knowledge network for clinicians, scientists and others interested in NGS diagnostics. During future occasions, we plan to organize similar discussions focussing on particular subjects of NGS diagnostics.
